I went to Crispiano with two of my friends and it was the perfect spot for good food, good company and amazing drinks. The food was fresh and extremely tasty, and one thing was honestly better than the next. My favorite was probably the burrata and the vodka pizza. The bolognese was perfect too. The atmosphere was cozy and fun, and we had an amazing time. The owner was so welcoming and I will definitely be back soon!!!!

To start off our server Artan was warm and accommodating! Our table shared the mussels, which were so fresh and full of flavor. I enjoyed the mushroom pizza, the margherita pizza and the bolognese! The pasta is homemade and you can tell. I highly recommend this Gem for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area. We will definitely be back.

We went for dinner and had the best dining experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, our glasses were never empty. And the food was amazing. The eggplant was hands down the best I ever had! It was so tender and full of flavor. The mushroom pizza was equally exceptional. I will definitely be back for more. 10/10 recommend.

the food—simply divine! The pasta is clearly made fresh in-house, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. I tried the vodka burrata , and it was rich, creamy, and cooked to perfection. The tartufo pizza had the perfect crust—crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce.

We only wanted something close and convenient, and thus we found this wonderful intimate Italian restaurant. We only had a few glasses of Chianti and pizza... both were delicious and worth returning to try what we really wanted. Two things made our dining experience incredibly memorable... first, was Merissa, she was delightful, full of thoughtful recommendations and just a pleasure to be around. She really made the evening a night to remember! Second... there was nice young man in his mid twenties that we began chatting with, but nothing particularly engaging given our distance from the bar and the people around us. He offered us slices that he couldn't finish, and we did the same when we couldn't finish ours... it was just a fun local restaurant experience. We wanted to introduce ourselves, but he had already left. When we asked for our check, we learned that this young man "took care of the bill," and we had no way to thank him... he wasn't local to the East Village, and we'll never know. We experienced humanity at its best in New York that we will always be thankful. We are truly blessed! Thank you again, Merissa!
